One year in for the official blog of Nokia South Africa – Ringaz: Our birthday, your present

June 28, 2011
By

How time has flown here at Nokia Ringaz, this week marks the beginning of our second year of the blog. As part of that celebration, we’re putting up a fabulous Nokia E7 for two lucky readers each to win. Simply complete the survey that follows to get yourself into the draw.

In the 12 months since Ringaz first hit the Internet, we’ve managed to carve out a nice little niche on the heavily populated web. We obviously want to make that niche bigger…and that’s where you and the survey come in to play.

Our goal is an ambitious one, but we believe it can be reached. We want to be the number 1 corporate blog in the South African technology sector. We think it’s possible, because not only is mobile technology super-hot right now (putting it ahead of any other category in the tech field), but Nokia is a major player undergoing tectonic developments.

More than that, we are also committed to producing material which is not only interesting, but also highly relevant to the news of the day and the currents which swirl around this fast-changing environment.

The point of our existence is to provide a useful and insightful resource for consumers, which differentiates Nokia from our competitors. How have we done?

Looking back over the last year from a statistical perspective, we have had almost 83 000 visits. Other vitals include:

You guys have commented over 2, 500 times

Nearly 10 per cent of you have come back to the site more than 8 times

20 per cent of you stay on the site between 3 and 10 minutes

965 different sites send traffic to the blog

Already, we know that you come here to find out about our latest Nokia handsets, and to stand a chance to win one, by telling us more about what you’d like to see here.

That means you’re in luck. Complete the survey below – which is exclusively accessible from Ringaz, give us more insight into what you want to read.

And we could be giving you a Nokia E7.

Thanks for your time – and good luck!
