Nokia Say WhatsApp Competition Rules

The Nokia Say WhatsApp Competition (the “Competition”) will be conducted by Nokia Corporation (“Competition Organizer”), in South Africa from 15 June 2011 to 27 July 2011 (inclusive) (the “Competition Period”).

A participant will be directed to enter the competition through banners, emails, search and SMSes to a mobile or web competition pages during the Competition Period. A participant must enter the Competition by registering and indicating his or her full name. Data usage in sending the registration will be subject to standard operator charges. Registration for this Competition is free.

The closing date for the draw will be weekly, which are 29 June 2011, 06 July 2011, 13 July 2011, 20 July 2011 and 27 July 2011. No late entries will be accepted after those dates. On the following dates, 30 June 2011, 07 July 2011, 14 July 2011, 21 July 2011 and 28 July 2011, the winners of the Competition shall be randomly electronically drawn by the Competition Organiser from all entries received during the Competition Period.

Each winner will win a prize as described herein (the “Prize”). The prizes on offer weekly are Nokia smartphones, which could either be a Nokia C5-03, Nokia C6, Nokia C7 and Nokia N8 with a R500 Nokia music store voucher and Nokia Original Accessories, which are Nokia Bluetooth Stereo Headset BH-905i (bundled with N8 only) or BH-505 (bundled with C5-03, C6 & C7) and Nokia Extra Power DC-11K. Delivery of the Prize will be arranged via telephone using the details supplied upon registration. The Prizes are non-negotiable and non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.

The Competition is open to all South African residents, excluding the directors, members, partners, employees or agents of, or consultants to the Competition Organiser and its affiliate companies or their immediate family, life partners, business partners or associates , the Competition Organizer’s advertising agencies and suppliers.

The winners of the Competition shall be notified by the Competition Organiser by telephone and by e-mail to the address provided in the Competition registration form. The winners’ acceptance will be asked during the call and in the e-mail, and if the acceptance is given, the Prize will be provided to the winners in the manner agreed with him or her.

In the event that a winner does not accept the Prize within 48 hours after having been informed that he or she has won the Prize, the winner shall be deemed to have forfeited the Prize and shall have no claim against the Competition Organiser arising therefrom. In this case, the Competition Organiser will, at their sole discretion, reserve the right to reallocate the Prize to the next randomly drawn valid entry or to declare the Prize forfeit.

Any personal information relating to a participant that is collected by the Competition Organiser during the Competition will not be shared with any third party without the participant’s express written consent.

The Competition Organiser reserves the right to reduce the duration of, extend, modify or cancel the Competition.

South African law applies to the operation of the Competition

All decisions taken by the Competition Organiser in the course of the Competition are final and binding.
