We would like to congratulate Francois du Toit for the being the first person in SA to win the latest Nokia N8 smartphone by guessing the correct box, number 272.

We had an amazing response with over 450 competition entries and eventually gave you, our Ringaz readers, two clues to help you along. The correct box number could be calculated by adding up the number values of the N8’s features together:

+Weight 135g

+ Volume 86cc

+ Camera: 12mp

+ Memory: 16 GB

+ Colours: 16.7 million

+ Screen size: 3.5 inch

+ Zoom: 3x

giving a total of 272, the winning box number. We also gave away another clue on Thursday last week that the correct answer was divisible by 8.

Our winner Francois’ guess was the 402^nd choice out of hundreds of entries and we will be sending him the new N8 as soon as it hits our shores.

But don’t despair Ringaz readers we are going to be holding another one week competition and giving away another N8 Nokia smartphone. Don’t forget there will be a total of 8 x Nokia N8 competitions over the next few weeks so everyone has a chance to win.

We are partnering with the team from iMod.co.za for this week’s give-away. To enter you will need to submit a photo of an object or scene that includes the image of an 8 within it to mailto:nokia@imod.co.za. This next competition runs from today, Monday 6^th to Sunday the 12 September with the next lucky N8 winner being announced on Ringaz Monday the 13^th September.
