The C1-01 is an entry level Nokia offering, in a nutshell, an ‘old style’ phone. It makes calls, sends texts, colour screen, has a great camera and plays music via MP3 or FM radio. The phone is extremely competitively priced offering a great list of features at the price point.

The Nokia C1-01 is one of the most competent phones in its category though and has a VGA camera, which takes great pictures and video – and superb battery performance which is so important in this category. One thing that sets this phone apart from its class is that it also has an expandable memory capable of supporting up to 32GB microSD, which no other phone in its class offers.

At 79 grams, the C1-01 is also a light weight, great looking phone with a wide range of attractive and appealing colors ranging from “warm” grey to “dark” grey to midnight blue. The phone fits very well into the budget, especially when you consider the features already mentioned are combined with Bluetooth and USB connectivity.

The music player sounds good and is very easy to use, and the C1-01 enables you to stay in touch with friends, family and the world around you with fast access to your email, instant messaging services, the internet and Nokia’s Ovi Store.

On the messaging front you can also connect to your personal e-mail and IM accounts, and can keep the conversation going using a number of different chat and messaging applications.
