Congratulations to the following people who have been selected to review the N900, they also stand in line to win the Nokia N900:
Let’s not beat around the bush here: the Nokia N900 is absolutely, like, sick. So sick, in fact, it should be in intensive care. In the jungle of modern handheld devices, this beast is the 800-pound gorilla.
Don’t even think of calling the Nokia N900 a phone. This is a super-charged internet tablet, with enough processing power to send a man to the moon and with a huge screen for browsing. Sure, it can make calls. But that’s the least of it.
The operating system underlying the N900 is Maemo 5, which is based on Linux. That means the geeks among you can customize it to your heart’s content. Hackers, I tell you.
But I’m not going to review the N900 for you. No, no. That’s your job. Because here’s the thing. In your feedback on the Nokia Ringaz blog, you said you wanted more competitions and reviews. So we’re offering you the chance to win a Nokia N900 for yourself – but you’re going to have to review it first.

Review and win a Nokia N900
Here’s how it works. Send in a snappy motivation on why we should let you play with a Nokia N900 for a two-week review period. It can be as snappy as 140 characters to @NokiaRSA, or 150-300 well-considered words to Ringaz@ovi.com.
Get your motivations in by 5 August at the latest. Include important details like your name, gender, ID number and cellphone number. It makes identifying and contacting you so much easier.
The authors of the best three motivations get to review the N900 for two weeks. We then post their reviews on the Nokia Ringaz Blog, where readers will vote for the best review. The review that attracts the most votes wins the N900. Simple.
So get writing. We can’t wait to hear from you.
1. To enter the competition formulate a motivation stating why you should be one of three contestants to review a Nokia N900 device for a two week period commencing from the 6th August till the 20th August 2010.
2.Submissions received after 11:59pm on the 5th of August 2010 will not be added into the draw. Draw decisions made by the judges are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
3. Once all the posts have been received by the entrants and the review N900 devices received back, these posts will be placed on the Nokia Ringaz Blog. Contestants have 10 days to promote their posts and encourage as many people to vote for their Nokia N900 review. The closed poll for the vote down will be placed on the Nokia Ringaz homepage.
4. The voting for the best post will close on Monday the 30th of August 2010 at 12pm and winners will be announced on Tuesday the 31st of August 2010 on the Nokia Ringaz Blog.
5. The competition is open to everyone living in South Africa except employees and immediate family members of Nokia employees and Fleishman-Hillard employees.
6. The winner of the competition will receive a Nokia N900 mobile phone to keep.
7. Please note that if you are a winner on the Nokia Ringaz Blog you may not be eligible to win another Nokia Ringaz competition for a period of three months.
8. Entry into this competition constitutes acceptance of the above rules
