If you choose your cellphone based on how well it can march to the beat of your music collection, as well as ease of use and affordability, then the Nokia X2-00 was made just for you. This phone was built for music lovers and will enable them to enjoy its Stereo FM radio, music player and powerful speaker.
For an incredibly affordable price tag, you get a robust, solidly constructed device that features a compact (111 x 47 x 13.3 mm, 82 g), simple and elegant design. The X2-00 sports a 2.2″ (320 x 240 pixel) TFT screen, along with a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash that can record QVGA videos at 20 fps.
The X2-00 boasts a slot that allows for cards up to 16 GB in size to be added. This is also a hotswoppable slot, so you can insert the memory card without having to turn off the phone first and take the battery out.
Like the Nokia C3-00, the X2-00 operates on Series 40 operating system, so you can expect easy navigation of the OS and the phone’s features as well as a very impressive battery life. The latter in this case is talk time of up to 765 minutes, standby time of up to 530 hours and music playback time of up to 26.8 hours. There are a number of pre-loaded apps on-board the device to get you started including a calendar, calculator and to-do list, but you can add to these via Nokia’s Ovi Store and download apps such as the ultra-popular IM platform WhatsApp S40 Messenger and MXit.
Last, but most definitely not least, is the best feature of this affordable device, which is the X2-00’s fantastic stereo loudspeaker. Not only does it play music at a very high volume, but it will also ensure that your tunes can enjoyed with a crisp and clear sound even when pushed to the maximum volume.
