Peter van der Merwe is a writer, journalist, inveterate media junkie and unashamed watcher of people and their ways. He spends too much time feeding the belly of the corporate beast and too little time sitting in coffee shops, watching the world go by. He believes that the Great South African Novel has yet to be written, that we go on too few road trips, and that we spend too much time watching TV. He has a ridiculous sense of humour, reads insatiably, writes about anything from politics to pap en wors and is fascinated by technology (ooh, look, shiny …) and how it impacts on our lives and lifestyles. He’s not sure himself what you’ll get on any given day, so neither should you.
